WP1

Transversal theory approach towards new physics

The aim of WP1 is to explore novel ideas that address naturalness by studying their phenomenological implications in the context of the studies performed in the WP2, WP3, WP4, WP5. We plan to scrutinize existing theoretical proposals such as neutral naturalness, Mirror worlds, Clockwork, Relaxion, etc., as well as explore new constructions, with particular emphasis given to phenomenological signatures. Our investigations are driven by the following fundamental questions:

  1. What is the symmetry/mechanism stabilizing the EW scale and giving rise to the hierarchy between this and the Unification/Planck scale?
  2. How could this symmetry/mechanism derive from/be implemented in a UV
    complete model like supersymmetry?
  3. What are the consequences of such a mechanism to address naturalness in
terms of observable predictions at the TeV and multi-TeV scales?
